Grimsby Power has been notified that text messages have been sent out stating that the hydro provider will be returning funds via automatic transfer.
Grimsby Power does not communicate with customers via text and we do not return any account credits via automatic transfer.
If you receive any text message regarding a hydro refund transfer, please disregard them.
If you have been a victim of a scam and experienced a financial loss, please call the Niagara Regional Police Service non-emergency number at 905-688-4111.
If you received one of these calls but did not experience a financial loss, call Phonebusters at 1-888-495-8501 or contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-888-495-8501 http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/index-eng.htm

The Ontario Energy Board has set electricity prices effective May 1, 2021. These prices will appear on the Electricity line of you bill and are only for the electricity you use. They do not include other charges like delivery. Time of Use prices per kilowatt hour: Off Peak – 8.2¢ Mid Peak – 11.3¢ On Peak – 17.0¢ Tiered prices per kilowatt hour: Residential Tier 1 – First 600 kWh – 9.8¢ Tier 2 – Above 600 kWh – 11.5¢ The Ontario Electricity Rebate (OER) has also changed effective May 1, 2021.
