On August 17, 2020, Grimsby Power filed an IRM application with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for rates effective January 1, 2021. On December 11, 2020, the OEB issued its decision regarding the application. As a result of the OEB’s findings in the Decision, there will be a total monthly bill increase before taxes of $1.84 for a residential customer consuming 750 kWh, effective January 1, 2021. After taxes and the Ontario Electricity Rebate, the increase will be $1.47 per month. To view a table of total bill impacts for a sample of Grimsby Power customers please click here.
Effective February 23, 2021 The following Time of Use and Tiered Prices are in effect: Off Peak - 8.5¢ Mid Peak - 11.9¢ On Peak - 17.6¢ Residential Tiered First 1,000kWh - 10.1¢ Above 1,000kWh - 11.8¢ Small Business Tiered First 750kWh - 10.1¢ Above 750kWh - 11.8¢ Power is personal.
